These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mike Ross Legal AI platform at mikeross.in and all associated modules, including Legal Search, Legal Due Diligence (DD), GST Refund, and Litigation AI (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Provider

The Service is operated by Microlaw Corporate Services P Ltd. (CIN: U74999TN2018PTC120993), a company incorporated in Tamil Nadu, India, doing business as Mike Ross Legal AI.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration

You must sign in using Google OAuth to access the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity that occurs under your account on our platform.

4. Modules and Features

4.1 Legal Search

Provides AI-powered search across Indian Supreme Court judgments. Search results are generated from publicly available court records and processed using AI models. Results are provided for informational purposes only.

4.2 Legal Due Diligence (DD)

Allows you to upload legal documents for AI-powered analysis and comparison. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any documents you submit.

4.3 GST Refund

Assists with GST refund application preparation by accessing your GST return data via the GST portal. You authorize us to access your GST data using the OTP-based authentication you provide. GST refund features require purchased tokens.

4.4 Litigation AI

Provides AI-assisted litigation support including document analysis, legal research, and drafting assistance. Litigation features require purchased credits.

5. Payments and Billing

  • Payments are processed securely via Razorpay
  • GST tokens and Litigation credits are prepaid and non-transferable
  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise
  • Tokens and credits do not expire
  • Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content from the platform
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Share your account access with others
  • Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content
  • Circumvent access controls or usage limits
  • Reproduce or redistribute judgment summaries or AI-generated content at scale

7. Intellectual Property

Court judgments are public documents. Our AI-generated summaries, analyses, and structured data are proprietary. You may use outputs from the Service for your own legal work but may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit our AI-generated content.

8. Disclaimer of Legal Advice

The Service is an AI-powered legal research tool, not a law firm or substitute for legal advice. AI-generated summaries, analyses, and search results may contain errors or omissions. You should independently verify all information and consult a qualified legal professional before relying on any output from the Service for legal decisions.

9. GST-Specific Disclaimer

The GST Refund module generates draft refund applications based on your GST return data. We do not guarantee the accuracy of calculations or the success of any refund application. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated applications before submission to the GST portal.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mike Ross Legal AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Unused tokens and credits are subject to our Refund Policy upon termination.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Tamil Nadu, India.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
